PLC Panel Builder in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Control Panels Company is a PLC panel builder in Saudi Arabia, assembling the hardware of automation panels: PLC racks, I/O modules, power supplies, network switches, relays and field terminals. We integrate Siemens, Rockwell and Schneider PLC hardware per your drawings, with a typical lead time of 2–4 weeks. The programme is loaded by your integrator; we build and test the hardware.
What you receive: a priced quotation setting out the PLC platform, I/O count, enclosure, power architecture, make list and lead time, returned inside one working day once we hold your drawings or I/O list. Request a quotation

What are the main components of a PLC control panel?
A PLC panel is a controlled assembly where every device has a job and a place on the backplate. The common parts are listed below.
- Incoming protection and isolator. A breaker or switch-disconnector protects the panel and isolates it for maintenance.
- Power supplies. One or more 24 V DC supplies feed the PLC, the I/O and the field instruments, often with redundancy.
- PLC processor and I/O modules. Digital and analogue input and output cards bring field signals into the controller.
- Interposing relays and isolators. They protect the I/O cards and switch higher-voltage loads.
- Terminals. Marked terminal rows separate field wiring from internal wiring and make fault finding quick.
- Network equipment. Industrial switches, serial gateways and fibre or copper ports connect the panel to the plant network.
- HMI and operator devices. A touch screen, push buttons, selector switches and lamps sit on the door.
- Thermal management. Fans, filters, heaters and thermostats, or an air-conditioner, hold the inside temperature within component limits.
PLC panel builder in Saudi Arabia: scope and standards
Hardware is where our work starts and ends. The table shows what each build covers.
| Panel | Rating | Standard | Lead time |
|---|---|---|---|
| PLC hardware integration | Siemens, Rockwell and Schneider PLC hardware integrated per your drawings | IEC 60204-1 | 2–4 weeks |
| Power distribution | 380–415 V incomer, 24 V DC supplies, MCB and fuse protection to your schematic | IEC 61439-1, IEC 60204-1 | Part of the panel lead time |
| Wiring and marking | Ferruled, labelled, segregated power and signal wiring | IEC 60204-1 | Part of the panel lead time |
| Enclosure | Rittal TS8, AX and VX25, or local enclosures, IP31 to IP66 | IEC 60529 | Part of the panel lead time |
| Hardware test | Power-up, protection checks and I/O wiring checks to terminals | IEC 60204-1 | Included |
We build with ABB, Schneider Electric and Siemens components for breakers, relays, supplies and terminals, and we fit the PLC and HMI make that your drawings name.
Do you program the PLC, or only build the panel?
We build the panel hardware: we assemble, wire, label, power up and verify the I/O connections. We do not write PLC programmes or SCADA screens. That keeps the build clean and fast, and it lets your automation integrator work from a panel whose terminal numbers match the I/O list.
When you also need logic, HMI or SCADA, your integrator or a specialist company writes it, and we can hold the panel for their software download. PLC programming and SCADA integration are separate engineering services from an automation company.
How do we keep a PLC panel serviceable for years?
Serviceability comes from decisions made before the first wire is cut. We leave spare I/O capacity and spare terminals as your specification allows, size supplies with headroom, and keep signal cables away from power cables. Every wire carries the same number at both ends, and the schematic references match the terminal labels, so a technician can trace a fault in minutes.
Heat is the second factor. We calculate the dissipated power of the PLC, supplies, drives and relays, then pick ventilation, a filter fan or an air-conditioner to keep the panel cool in Gulf summers. For wiring standards in detail, read our page on control panel wiring.
How is a PLC panel built and tested?
- Enquiry. You send the electrical schematics, I/O list, panel layout and bill of materials, or a specification we can design from.
- Review. We check the drawings for component clashes, heat load and space, and raise queries before purchase.
- Procurement. The PLC hardware, supplies, relays and enclosure are ordered against the approved list.
- Assembly. Backplates are laid out, devices mounted, and wiring is completed and labelled.
- Hardware test. We check protective earth continuity, insulation resistance and supply polarity, then power the panel and verify every I/O terminal against the list. The routine is described under panel FAT and testing.
- Delivery and support. Panels are packed, delivered and handed to your integrator with the drawings.
Panels with a pump-station duty are covered by pump control panels, and one-off panels from a sketch by custom control panels.
Who we build PLC panels for
Saudi Control Panels Company has worked in Saudi Arabia since 2000 and is approved by Saudi Aramco, SABIC and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. We have worked on projects for all three, and we hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification. Our our Dallah Industrial workshop in Dammam builds more than 150 panels a month.
Our customers are system integrators, plant maintenance teams and machine builders who want the hardware built to a drawing and tested before it reaches the site. We deliver to every region of Saudi Arabia, with site response in the Eastern Province inside one working day.
PLC panel questions
Who is a PLC panel builder in Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Control Panels Company provides PLC panel building in Saudi Arabia from its Dammam workshop, wiring Siemens, Rockwell and Schneider hardware to your drawings with ABB, Schneider Electric and Siemens components. Approval is held from Saudi Aramco, SABIC and the Royal Commission.
What affects the cost of a PLC panel?
The main factors are the I/O count, the PLC and HMI platform, the number of drives and relays, the enclosure size and material, the cooling method, the wiring density and the testing required. A bill of materials and schematic let us price each of these separately.
How long does a PLC panel take to build?
A typical PLC panel takes 2–4 weeks from approved drawings. Components on the bill of materials and your speed in answering drawing queries decide where in that range a panel falls. Complete drawings at enquiry stage shorten the schedule more than any other step.
Can you build from our integrator's drawings?
Yes. We take the schematics, layout, bill of materials and I/O list from your integrator or consultant, review them, build the panel exactly as drawn and return as-built records. If something does not fit, we raise a query before purchase and not after assembly.
Can you supply the PLC and HMI as well?
Yes. We procure the PLC, I/O and HMI of the make and model your drawings specify, install them in the panel and test the hardware. The software on those devices is supplied by your programming team.
What should I send to get a quotation?
Send the electrical schematics, I/O list, panel layout drawings and bill of materials. If you have only a functional description or a sketch, send that with the I/O count and platform, and we will propose the hardware. We reply with a quotation inside one working day.
