What documents support a vendor-listed panel order?

A vendor-listed project asks for more than a finished panel. It asks for evidence. We prepare:

  • an inspection and test plan, agreed with you before the build;
  • drawings for approval, with a revision log;
  • a bill of materials that follows the client's approved-makes list;
  • material and component certificates where the specification requires them;
  • the factory test record with witness signatures; and
  • as-built drawings, manuals and a spares list at handover.

Witness and hold points are fixed in the plan, so your inspector knows when to attend. See panel FAT and testing for how the test is carried out.

How does an approved-vendor panel order run?

  1. Enquiry. You send the specification, the data sheets and the inspection and test plan.
  2. Compliance review. We list each clause against our design and flag any deviation.
  3. Proposal. You receive scope, documents, lead time and price.
  4. Submittals. Drawings and makes go for approval.
  5. Build and inspection. The panel is built, with hold points honoured.
  6. Test. Factory acceptance testing is carried out and witnessed.
  7. Delivery. The panel is released with its certificates.
  8. Handover. You receive the full document pack.

Who buys panels from an approved manufacturer?

Buyers include EPC contractors, plant owners and consultants delivering work in refining, petrochemicals, utilities and industrial cities. See our work in oil and gas, and the panels most often ordered: LV switchboards and MCC panels. Our our Dallah Industrial workshop in Dammam builds more than 150 panels a month. We deliver to every region of Saudi Arabia.

Approval questions

Who is an Aramco approved panel manufacturer in Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Control Panels Company provides panels as an Aramco approved panel manufacturer, and is also approved by SABIC and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. Send your specification and we confirm how our scope matches your project's requirements.

What affects the cost of a vendor-listed panel?

The main factors are the panel type and rating, the approved-makes list, the number of witness and hold points, the documents required, special tests and packing for export or site delivery. The proposal shows the documentation package as its own line so you can compare it.

How long does an approved-vendor panel take?

Typical lead times run from 3–5 weeks for LV switchboards to 4–6 weeks for MCC panels. Submittal approval time sits on top of the build, so quick drawing review is the fastest way to shorten the schedule.

Does the approval cover every project?

Each client keeps its own vendor list and sets its own scope for each project. We supply our certificates and company data, answer the client's questions and work to the project's inspection and test plan. Send the specification and we confirm what the project needs.

Can you work to my client's approved-makes list?

Yes. Send the list with the specification. We check every component against it, propose the closest match for any item that is not listed, and submit the bill of materials for approval before ordering.
