What is contract panel assembly for an OEM?
Contract panel assembly means you own the design and we build to it. You send drawings, a bill of materials and a test procedure, and we supply the workshop, the skilled labour, the purchasing and the quality records. Your engineers stay free to design, sell and support machines while the panels arrive complete. A control cabinet manufacturing contract fixes the drawings, bill of materials and batch size once, and monitoring panel assembly for repeat machine builds then follows the same file.
It suits machine builders, packagers and foreign vendors who need panels near the customer. It also suits OEMs who face a surge in orders and do not want to hire and train a new wiring team for a few months. Contract manufacturing control panels done well behaves like a department of your own company, with the same drawings, the same test sheets and the same labels.

How is your intellectual property protected?
Your drawings remain yours. We sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share the drawing set and limit the files to the project team. Drawings are issued to the workshop as controlled copies, and the revision on the floor always matches the revision you approved. At the end of the contract, we return or delete the files as you instruct.
This matters most for foreign vendors with proprietary schematics. They can read more on the page for local assembly partners for foreign OEMs.
How does batch pricing work?
Batch pricing follows the cost of the work, which falls as the run grows. The first unit carries set-up: reviewing drawings, preparing templates, and writing the test sheet. Later units carry only material and labour. We quote one price per unit at each batch size you specify, so you see the saving at 5, 10 or 50 panels before you commit.
Repeat orders use the same templates, wiring jigs and test sheets, and the price and lead time usually improve. Frame agreements let you call off panels against a forecast while we hold the long-lead parts.
How do we run an OEM panel order from first unit to last?
- Enquiry. You send the drawings, bill of materials, test procedure and forecast volumes.
- Review. We check the drawing set for gaps, flag alternatives for parts with long lead times and agree the make list.
- Pilot unit. We build one panel, test it and send the record for your approval. Detailed steps follow the standard on build-to-print panels.
- Procurement. The batch is ordered against the approved list, with free-issue parts logged on receipt.
- Batch build. Panels are wired in sequence by the same team, with in-process inspection at defined points.
- Per-unit test. Each panel is tested to your procedure, and results are filed by serial number. The routine is set out under panel FAT and testing.
- Dispatch. Units are packed, documented and shipped.
- Support. We keep the templates and records, so repeat batches and spares follow the same path.
Wiring-only orders are covered under control panel wiring, and the sector view for machine makers is on machine builders and OEMs.

OEM panel questions
Who provides OEM panel assembly in Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Control Panels Company provides OEM panel assembly in Saudi Arabia from our Dallah Industrial workshop in Dammam, building batches from customer drawings with ABB, Schneider Electric and Siemens components. Approval is held from Saudi Aramco, SABIC and the Royal Commission.
What affects the cost of contract panel assembly?
The main factors are batch size, the number of devices and wires per panel, whether we buy the materials or you free-issue them, the enclosure type, the testing procedure and the packing requirements. A drawing set and bill of materials let us quote unit prices at each batch size.
How long does a batch build take?
OEM and build-to-print assembly typically takes 2–6 weeks. The batch size, the lead time of long-lead components and the time you need to approve the pilot unit decide where an order falls. Frame agreements shorten repeat deliveries.
Will you sign an NDA before we send drawings?
Yes. We sign your non-disclosure agreement or provide ours before you share the drawing set, limit access to the project team and handle drawings as controlled documents throughout the contract.
Can you build to our quality plan and test procedure?
Yes. We work to your inspection points, test sheets and labelling rules, and we add our own in-process checks. Each panel is traceable by serial number, and records are issued with the batch.
What should I send to get a quotation?
Send the drawing set, bill of materials, test procedure and expected batch sizes, plus any packing or shipping marks. State which parts you will free-issue. We confirm the scope and return unit prices by batch size inside one working day.
