Control Panel Types We Build in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Control Panels Company builds six families of special-purpose control panels in Saudi Arabia, alongside its switchboard and MCC ranges. The pages below separate them by duty, so you can compare ratings, enclosure choices and lead times before sending a drawing. Monthly output from the Dallah Industrial workshop in Dammam exceeds 150 panels, spread across every range.

Control panel types by duty
Each page covers where the panel is used, the components we fit, the tests it passes and what we need from you.
Distribution boards
Lighting, power and final distribution boards up to 800 A for buildings and plant rooms. Typical build time 1 to 2 weeks.
Pump control panels
Duty-standby, booster and sump pump panels with level control and alarm outputs, built and tested in Dammam. Typical build time 2 to 4 weeks.
VFD panels
Variable speed drive panels designed around the heat load of the drives, with cooling and harmonic limits worked out before the layout is fixed. Typical build time 2 to 4 weeks.
ATS panels
Automatic transfer switch panels for generator and mains changeover, with interlocked breakers and a transfer controller. Typical build time 2 to 4 weeks.
Stainless steel and outdoor panels
SS304 or SS316 enclosures welded for coastal, washdown and sun-exposed positions, rated IP55 to IP66. Typical build time 3 to 5 weeks.
Marine and offshore panels
Panels for vessels, platforms and shore facilities built to the rules of the classification society named in your specification, with class documentation.
Larger ranges built alongside these panels
The six panels above sit beside our core ranges. For main and sub-main distribution, see LV switchboards and MDB. For grouped motor starters, see MCC panels. When a controller is involved, PLC and automation panels covers the hardware side, and custom control panels handles layouts that fit none of the standard families.
Choosing between panel types
Start from the duty. A pump station that must keep running needs duty-standby control, and probably a VFD where flow varies. A site with a generator needs an ATS panel for changeover. A coastal or washdown location points to stainless steel, while a vessel or platform brings class rules into the specification. Where two types combine, such as a VFD panel in an outdoor stainless enclosure, we quote them as one assembly and test them together.
The component and enclosure brands we work with are listed on our partners page, so you can name a preferred make in your enquiry.
