MCC Panel Manufacturer in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Control Panels Company is an MCC panel manufacturer in Saudi Arabia, building motor control centres in fixed or withdrawable construction for plants that run pumps, fans, compressors and conveyors. Busbars go up to 4,000 A, with DOL, star-delta, soft-starter and VFD feeders, and a typical lead time of 4–6 weeks. Each MCC is routine-tested to IEC 61439.
What you receive: a priced quotation that lists the motor schedule, feeder types, busbar rating, form of separation, make list and lead time. We issue it within one working day of receiving your motor list or single-line diagram. Request a quotation

What does MCC stand for and what does an MCC panel do?
MCC stands for motor control centre. It is a lineup of vertical sections that groups the starters, protection and control devices for many motors in one place, fed from a common busbar. Instead of scattering a starter beside each motor, the plant manages all of them from a single, safe, labelled location.
A starter unit in the MCC normally holds a short-circuit protective device, a contactor or soft-starter, an overload or motor protection relay, control transformers and pilot devices. A section may also hold PLC marshalling, a VFD, a power-monitoring meter and the incomer. The result is a board that keeps every motor protected and every maintenance task isolated.
MCC panel manufacturer in Saudi Arabia: what we deliver
The table shows the standard build range. Special requirements are designed to your specification.
| Panel | Rating | Standard | Lead time |
|---|---|---|---|
| MCC lineup | Fixed or withdrawable, up to 4,000 A busbar | IEC 61439-1/-2 | 4–6 weeks |
| Starter types | DOL, star-delta, soft-starter and VFD feeders | IEC 60947-4-1 | Part of the MCC lead time |
| Form of separation | Form 2b to Form 4b to project specification | IEC 61439-2 | Part of the MCC lead time |
| Enclosure | Rittal TS8 and VX25, or local enclosures, IP31 to IP66 | IEC 60529 | Part of the MCC lead time |
| Control wiring | Terminal-based, ferruled and labelled | IEC 60204-1 | Part of the MCC lead time |
| Factory acceptance test | In-house routine verification; customer or third-party witness welcome | IEC 61439-1 | Included |
We build with ABB, Schneider Electric and Siemens components, so the contactors, overload relays, soft-starters and drives match the make your maintenance team already stocks.
Fixed or withdrawable MCC: which is right for the plant?
Choose withdrawable construction when a motor outage costs more than the extra price of the board. A withdrawable starter drawer can be racked out, tested and replaced without isolating the whole MCC, so a failed contactor becomes a ten-minute swap and not a shutdown. Spare drawers can be kept on the shelf.
A fixed MCC has its starters bolted in place. It costs less and takes less floor space, and it suits small plants, simple duty and sites where a planned stop is acceptable. Our engineers often propose a mix: withdrawable drawers for critical motors and fixed units for the rest. We quote both options when the specification leaves the choice open.
How do I choose between DOL, star-delta, soft-starter and VFD feeders?
Match the starter to the motor size, the supply strength and the process need. Direct-on-line is the simplest and suits small motors where the inrush current is tolerable. Star-delta cuts the starting current of larger motors that start unloaded. A soft-starter limits current and torque shock on pumps and fans, and a variable frequency drive adds speed control and energy savings where the process needs it.
Drives have special needs: heat dissipation, cable length and harmonic limits. When the MCC includes many drives, we usually give them their own sections. For standalone drive enclosures see VFD panels.
How do we build an MCC panel from motor list to site?
- Motor schedule. You send the list of motors with kW, voltage, starter type and any interlock or remote-control needs.
- Design. We select the busbar, the form, the starter components and the section layout, then issue general-arrangement, single-line and schematic drawings for approval.
- Procurement. Starter components and drives are ordered against the approved bill of materials.
- Assembly. Sections are built, busbars joined, starters mounted and control wiring completed.
- Factory acceptance test. Each starter is operated, interlocks are checked, insulation and dielectric tests are carried out, and the record is signed. The method is described under panel FAT and testing.
- Delivery. Transport units are delivered and positioned. Field wiring terminates on clearly marked terminals, in line with our control panel wiring standard.
- Documentation. You receive as-built drawings, test sheets, and the starter and settings schedule.
Where our MCC panels work
Saudi Control Panels Company has worked in Saudi Arabia since 2000 and is approved by Saudi Aramco, SABIC and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. Saudi Control Panels has worked on projects for all three and holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification. Our our Dallah Industrial workshop in Dammam builds more than 150 panels a month.
MCCs serve water and wastewater plants, petrochemical units, cement and steel works, food factories and utilities. Heavy dust and high ambient temperatures change the design, so the page on MCC panels for cement plants covers filtration, derating and cooling. For upstream power boards, see LV switchboards and MDB.
MCC panel questions
Who is an MCC panel manufacturer in Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Control Panels Company provides MCC panel manufacturing in Saudi Arabia from its Dammam workshop, with fixed and withdrawable motor control centres built with ABB, Schneider Electric and Siemens components. Approval is held from Saudi Aramco, SABIC and the Royal Commission.
What affects the cost of an MCC panel?
The main factors are the number and size of motors, the starter types, whether the construction is fixed or withdrawable, the form of separation, the busbar rating, the make of the components, the enclosure and the testing required. A motor schedule is enough for us to price each factor separately.
How long does an MCC panel take to deliver?
A typical MCC takes 4–6 weeks from approved drawings. The time depends on the number of sections, the drives and soft-starters specified, and the speed of drawing approval. We order long-lead breakers and drives on the day the order is confirmed.
Can an MCC include VFDs and PLC interfaces?
Yes. We build MCC sections with variable frequency drives, PLC marshalling terminals, power meters and remote start and stop wiring. The PLC itself and its programme come from your control system supplier, and we wire the interface terminals to your I/O list.
What is the difference between an MCC and a distribution board?
A distribution board feeds general circuits such as lighting, sockets and small equipment. An MCC controls and protects motors, with contactors or drives, overload protection and control circuits. Many plants have both, and the MCC takes its supply from the main LV switchboard.
What should I send to get a quotation?
Send the motor list with kW and voltage, the starter type for each motor, the single-line diagram and any project specification. Add the preferred component make and whether you want withdrawable units. We return a priced scope within one working day.
