Stainless Steel Control Panel Manufacturer in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Control Panels Company is a stainless steel control panel manufacturer in Saudi Arabia, fabricating and wiring SS304 and SS316 outdoor panels for coastal, chemical and washdown duty. Enclosures are rated IP55 to IP66, and the typical lead time is 3–5 weeks from approved drawings. Sizes and layouts follow your drawings.
What you receive: a written proposal with the scope, material grade, IP rating, standard, lead time and price. We issue the quotation within one working day of receiving your drawings or panel schedule. Request a quotation

Why choose stainless steel or an outdoor panel?
Painted mild steel fails early where there is salt air, chemical splash or frequent washdown. Chloride from the Gulf coast attacks the coating at every scratch and weld, and rust then spreads under the paint. Stainless steel carries its corrosion resistance through the whole thickness of the sheet, so a scratch does not open a path for rust. An outdoor enclosure adds a second need: it must keep out sand, dust and rain jets while shedding the heat that sun and equipment put into it.
SS304 or SS316: which grade for a panel in Jubail or Yanbu?
SS304 suits inland, indoor and mildly corrosive sites, including food and beverage areas that are washed down with clean water. SS316 contains molybdenum and resists chlorides much better, so it is the grade for coastal plants, desalination, marine terminals, chemical areas and sites where cleaning agents or sea spray reach the panel. In Jubail, Yanbu and on any shoreline site we recommend SS316. Tell us the location and the exposure, and the proposal states the grade we advise and why.
Stainless steel control panel manufacturer: what we deliver
We fabricate and wire each panel in-house. The table sets out the scope.
| Panel | Rating | Standard | Lead time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stainless steel enclosure, SS304 | Wall, floor or pedestal mount, IP55–IP66, brushed or mill finish | IEC 60529; IEC 61439-1 | 3–5 weeks |
| Stainless steel enclosure, SS316 | Wall, floor or pedestal mount, IP55–IP66, passivated after welding | IEC 60529; IEC 61439-1 | 3–5 weeks |
| Outdoor control panel | Sun shield, drip roof, gland plate, thermostatic ventilation or sealed cooling | IEC 61439-1; IEC 60204-1 | 3–5 weeks |
| Climate control | Filtered fans, heat exchanger or air conditioner, anti-condensation heater | Heat rise verified to IEC 61439-1 | Part of build time |
| Rittal stainless enclosures | Rittal catalogue stainless sizes where a standard size fits | IEC 62208 | Part of build time |
| Factory acceptance test | Routine verification, IP-related checks of seals and glands, wiring and insulation tests | IEC 61439-1/-2 | Included in build time |
We build with ABB, Schneider Electric and Siemens components, mounted in Rittal enclosures or in enclosures we fabricate to your drawings.
What IP rating does an outdoor panel need?
IP55 stops dust ingress that would harm the equipment and withstands water jets. IP65 is dust-tight and withstands jets, and is the usual minimum for an outdoor electrical panel in the Eastern Province. IP66 withstands powerful jets and heavy seas, and suits hose-down areas and exposed coastal installations. The higher the rating, the harder it is to move air through the panel, so the cooling method changes with it. Sealed panels use heat exchangers or air conditioners. Lower-rated panels can use filtered fans. We set the IP rating and the cooling together in the design, never one without the other.
How is a stainless steel panel fabricated, tested and delivered?
- Enquiry. You send the drawings, panel schedule or the equipment list and the site location.
- Site data. We confirm the exposure, the ambient temperature, the cable entry and the grade of steel.
- Design. We issue the general arrangement, the heat calculation, the schematics and the weld and finish notes for approval.
- Fabrication. Sheets are cut, folded and TIG-welded, ground and passivated, then fitted with door seals and mounting plates. Our welders hold qualifications to ASME, AWS and DIN EN.
- Wiring and factory acceptance test. We wire the panel and carry out the routine verification. You or your inspector can witness the test.
- Delivery. The panel is packed with protection on the finished faces and delivered to site.
- Documentation. You receive as-built drawings, the test record and the material certificates for the sheet.
- Support. We remain available for spare parts and site call-outs.
Where we supply outdoor and stainless panels
Saudi Control Panels Company has worked in Saudi Arabia since 2000 and is approved by Saudi Aramco, SABIC and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu. We have worked on projects for all three, and we hold ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification. More than 150 panels leave our Dallah Industrial workshop in Dammam each month.
Panels go to pump stations, desalination and water treatment, petrochemical yards, food plants, marine terminals and roadside or utility cabinets. We deliver to every region of Saudi Arabia, and we respond to site requests in the Eastern Province within one working day. For panels in chemical and process areas, read about our work for oil and gas, and for panels on ships and platforms, see our marine and offshore panels. For other special builds, see custom control panels.
Stainless steel control panel questions
Who provides stainless steel control panel manufacturing in Saudi Arabia?
Saudi Control Panels Company provides SS304 and SS316 panels from its Dammam workshop, with qualified welding and components from ABB, Schneider Electric and Siemens. We have been active since 2000 and are approved by Saudi Aramco, SABIC and the Royal Commission.
What affects the cost of a stainless steel panel?
The main factors are the grade (SS316 costs more than SS304), the sheet thickness and enclosure size, the IP rating, the cooling method, the finish and the quantity of components inside. Send your drawings and the proposal puts a price on each, so you can compare options.
How long does stainless steel panel delivery take?
The typical lead time for a stainless steel or outdoor panel is 3–5 weeks. Fabrication drawings, sheet availability for the grade and thickness, and the cooling equipment fitted decide how close to either end of that range you land.
Is IP65 enough for an outdoor panel in Saudi Arabia?
IP65 is enough for most outdoor panels where water exposure is rain or hose jets. For heavy washdown or sea spray, use IP66. In both cases, a sun shield and the correct cooling matter as much as the rating, because trapped heat shortens the life of every component inside.
Can you make a panel to our own stainless enclosure drawing?
Yes. We fabricate to your drawings, including cut-outs, internal frames and special finishes, or we adapt a Rittal stainless size to suit. We confirm dimensions, weld details and gland positions with you before cutting steel.
What should I send to get a quotation?
Send your drawings, panel schedule or equipment list, with the site location, the required IP rating and the grade if specified. The proposal then sets out scope, standard, lead time and price.
